The Blur Network (BLUR) is a privacy-focused network, built upon the premise that privacy is incompatible with centralization. Launched in June 2018, BLUR employs a custom mining algorithm called CryptoNight-Dynamic. Iterations of the algorithm adjust approximately once every five seconds, with a goal of maintaining CPU advantages over specialized mining hardware. Blur is in the process of writing code to integrate its network with Komodo's Delayed-Proof-of-Work for 51% attack resistance. When complete, BLUR will be the first interoperable project to write chain data between XMR, ZEC, and LTC codebases, for the purpose of blockchain security and integrity.
