XeggeX is a cryptocurrency exchange platform (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”) that allows its users (hereinafter referred to as “User” or “Users”) to trade a variety of digital assets and access related services.
The XeggeX Platform is an ecosystem comprising the XeggeX websites (with domain names including but not limited to https://www.xeggex.com/), mobile applications, applets, and other applications developed to offer XeggeX services.
XeggeX (hereinafter also “We,” “Us,” “Our”) respects and values your privacy and the confidentiality of your account information. 2. Kinds of Data
- 2.1 Know-Your-Customer (KYC) / Identification Data: refers to Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data we collect when you register to the Platform which may include full legal name, gender, date of birth, nationality, civil status, permanent address, present address, government-issued identification numbers, mobile number, home number, source of funds, gross annual income, and any other information necessary to conduct due diligence and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- 2.2 Sensitive Personal Data: for User identity verification, government-issued identification numbers or cards such as passport or driver’s license ID or any information that is necessary or incidental or in connection with a requested product or service on the Platform may be collected.
- 2.3 Biometric Data: subject to limitations imposed by law, data processed for User identity verification using facial recognition technology and liveness detection mechanisms.
- 2.4 Transactional Data: linkable information to your Personal Data such as deposits, withdrawals, such other transfers made to or from your account, and details about them such as reference number, place and time these were made, and information when you contact us through our official channels.
- 2.5 Usage Data: data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
The foregoing data are collectively referred to as “User Data.”
3. Data Processing and Protection
- 3.1 Processing means any activity pertaining to the collection, recording, organization, storage, updating or modification, retrieval, consultation, use, consolidation, blocking, erasure or destruction of all User Data.
- 3.2 We implement rigorous data collection, storage, and processing practices, as well as security measures, to safeguard against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction details, and data stored on our Platform. The exchange of personal and sensitive data between the Platform and its Users occurs over an SSL secured communication channel, ensuring encryption and protection with digital signatures.
- 3.3 The personal information encompassed within the Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) and this Policy includes various categories. Firstly, it comprises the personal registration details provided by Users during account registration or usage, encompassing information like contact numbers, email addresses, and ID card information. Secondly, it involves server data automatically received and recorded by the Platform from Users' browsers when accessing the Platform, including IP addresses and other relevant data. However, we shall be obligated to protect Users' data in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, with limited exceptions for sharing with authorized parties.

5. Cookies
- 5.1 Cookies are a small amount of data that is sent to the User’s browser and stored in the User’s computer hard drive. Only when the User uses their computer to access the Platform can the Cookies be sent to the User’s computer hard drive.
- 5.2 Our Platform may utilize cookies to improve the User experience. The User's web browser stores cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and occasionally to track information about them. Users have the option to configure their web browser to reject cookies or to receive alerts when cookies are being sent. However, if they choose to do so, it should be noted that some parts of the Platform may not function properly.

- 6.1 Users may encounter advertising or other content on our Platform that links to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors, and other third parties. We do not control the content or links on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Platform. Furthermore, these sites or services, along with their content and links, may undergo constant changes. They may also have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interacting with any other website, including those linked to our Platform, is subject to the terms and policies of that website.
- 6.2 By visiting any link on the Platform that redirects to a third-party website or a third-party partner's website, Users agree to and must comply with the separate and independent privacy policies of such third-party websites. Users understand and acknowledge that the Platform is not liable for the content or activities of such third-party websites or partners.
7. User Rights
As User of the Platform, you have the following rights:
- 7.1 Right to be informed: you may request the details as to how your personal information is collected, used or processed by the Platform.
- 7.2 Right to access: you may request reasonable access to your personal information, which may include the contents of your processed personal information, the manner of processing, sources where they were obtained, recipients and reason of disclosure.
- 7.3 Right to correct: you may request the Platform to correct any information and/or personal data relating to you which is inaccurate.
- 7.4 Right to object: you may suspend, withdraw, and remove your personal information from certain further processing, upon request, which includes your right to opt-out to any commercial communication or marketing purposes from the Platform.
- 7.5 Right to data erasure: based on reasonable grounds and subject to applicable laws and regulations, you may request to suspend, withdraw or order blocking, removal or destruction of your personal data from the Platform’s record system, without prejudice to the Platform’s continuous processing for commercial, operational, legal, and regulatory purposes.
- 7.6 Right to data portability: you may request to obtain from the Platform your personal information you have initially provided consent for us to use in an electronic or structured format that is commonly used and allows for further use.
- 7.7 Right to withdraw consent: you may request to withdraw your consent for our processing of your personal information. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide you with continued access to the services.

We reserve the right to modify and update this Policy at any time. The Platform will inform Users of any amendments made to the Policy by releasing updates, publishing the effective date of new versions, and highlighting the changes.
